Projects
From 06/2017 to date, Characterization and genetic diversity studies of Vigna species and their importance in further breeding
This is an on-going project that seecks to characterize som vigna species with the aim of selecting for attributes that are of agronomic importance that could be further used in hybridization studies to improve the quality and yield of the cultivated cowpea varieties.
From 08/2012 to 2016, morphometric, cytogenetic and molecular studies of some moss species from Nigeria
This project investigated the genetic diversity among moss species from Nigeria using morphometrics, cytology and molecular tools. The chromosome numbers of these moss species were also established for the first time. The Ph.D. project was sponsored by the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria
From 08/2013 to 11/2015, Morphological, cytological and reproductive biology of Euphorbia weedy species
This project investigated the morphology, chromosome numbers and reproductive biology of some weedy Euphorbia species. The chromosome number of E. hyssopifolia and E. heterophylla were also established
From 08/2007 to 10/2011, Morphometris, Cytogenetics and Population dynamics of Oryza sativa, O. glaberrima and O. longistaminata hybrid swarm, located in Jebba, Nigeria.
This project investigated the population dynamics in a rice hybrid swarm located in Jebba, Nigeria, using morphometrics and cytogenetic tools. The MSc. project was sponsored by Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria
