A review of scientific research relevant to the research topic is given, attention is paid to the role of price and quality of electricity in the energy market. Based on specific examples of the firm's activities, the structure of the cost price and revenues, energy use indicators, etc., affecting the rationale for creating an electric consumer theory of the firm, are considered.
