Abstract

In this paper, we focused on the effect of SEBS and POE on the crystallization of polypropylene, as well as thermal properties. DSC results revealed that the crystallinity of polypropylene and the rate of crystallization of polypropylene decreased with the presence of SEBS. While the crystallinity of polypropylene increased with a small amount of POE, and the crystallinity of polypropylene decreased with a large amount of POE. TGA results showed that SEBS can decrease the thermal stability of the polypropylene, while the thermal stability of the polypropylene improved with the presence of POE. In addition, both POE and SEBS can increase the notched impact strength of polypropylene. SEBS had better performance than POE in increasing the notched impact strength of polypropylene.
